The house comprises four double bedrooms with one family room also containing two single beds. One of the double bedrooms is on the ground floor with easy access to a shower room. The family bathroom upstairs features a roll-top bath providing views across the open countryside and a separate shower.
There is a large, well-equipped farmhouse kitchen with dining table for family meals, Esse range cooker and microwave. Should the temperature drop, there is a traditional log burner in the stone surround fireplace and wood in the shed.
The spacious sitting room with traditional fireplace and log burner contains freesat TV (including some UK channels) and DVD player (with a small collection of films available). An adjoining study/snug overlooks the pool area and provides extra space for reading and relaxing. The house is equipped with good wi-fi capable of streaming and fast browsing.
Outside, the house is surrounded by gardens with a 10m x 4m pool to the rear, space for football, boules or badminton and a wildlife orchard. The gorgeous, traditional open barn is an ideal spot for lunch during the heat of the day or an atmospheric space for an evening meal or BBQ. For the more adventurous there is a large, traditional bread oven (which at one time will have served the wider village) which can be used to bake homemade pizzas. You can always find a shady (or sunny) spot during the day or a place to gaze at the stars at night without hindrance from light pollution.
Bikes, boules, table tennis net and a badminton set are provided, along with pool loungers.
